Woman in 20s killed in Dublin car collision, police appeal for witnesses

A woman in her 20s died Saturday night after being struck by a car in Dublin, Irish police said.

Gardaí responded at approximately 23:50 local time to a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle on the N11 Bray Road in Loughlinstown, authorities said.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The coroner has been notified. The scene remains preserved for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local traffic diversions are in place.

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
